Head of Year job summary
We are seeking a Head of Year, to lead teaching, learning and pastoral care for a year group of students from either April or September 2021. The successful candidate will become a member of our hard working, innovative Raising Standards Team, dedicated to removing barriers to learning and improving life chances for all students. The successful candidate will be proactive, well organised and able to lead both staff and students.
They will be an excellent teacher in their own right, who consistently leads by example, and is adept at supporting and developing teachers and students. Alongside duties such as tracking student progress and leading assemblies, the successful candidate will lead a team of tutors.
