Head of Year job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a suitably qualified teacher with the pastoral oversight of a year group.
The ideal candidate will be adept at supporting, promoting and monitoring the personal development and academic progress of each student within the year group.
The post would suit a recently qualified or experienced teacher who has obtained a degree in any discipline relating to their teaching specialism. We welcome applications from within the UK or abroad.

Khalsa Secondary Academy is an 11-18 school, located in the lovely village of Stoke Poges, north of Slough in Buckinghamshire, close to Beaconsfield and High Wycombe.
Although the Academy had been labelled inadequate in 2019, recent monitoring visits from Ofsted and multiple improvement partners have commended the considerable improvements made since then. The Academy’s overall progress score is continually well above the national average and in the highest 20% of all schools in 2019, 2018 and 2017. Exam results in 2020 were very pleasing also. Here at Khalsa Secondary Academy, teachers enjoy a settled, calm and supportive environment in which students behave well, work hard and enjoy learning.
