• Full-time equivalent salary: SCALE PLOINT 6 (18-22) FTE £29269 - £31364 (PRO RATA £25147 - £26947)

What skills and experience we're looking for

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent including Maths and English
• Enhanced DBS
• Knowledge and understanding of techniques and procedures used
• Previous technical/commercial laboratory experience

• Trained in or willing to train in first aid skills
• Experience of working in a school
• Ideally an A level qualification in at least one science discipline
• Previous experience and detailed knowledge of one science discipline
• Good IT SkillsGood administrative skills including record keeping
• Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• Ability to see tasks through to a successful conclusion
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and pay attention to detail without close supervision
• Ability to lead a team of technicians
