Working and playing is something we do well at Awsworth Primary & Nursery School, where we encourage all of our pupils to achieve their best. Following the retirement of our current Head Teacher we are looking for a strategic leader who has the ability to think big and evolve our school for the future. Someone who is child centred and innovative, with the ability to take us to ‘outstanding’ at our next OfSTED inspection. You must be a qualified teacher who will enhance what we already have and lead us in developing a new chapter in our school’s history. Previous success in a leadership role and a proven track record of successful whole school improvement are essential. The East Midlands Education Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
