Due to the retirement of our current Headteacher, we are looking for a dynamic and passionate new Head to take us into our new chapter, building on the strength of our school story so far and to continue our journey.
The Governors would like to appoint an inspirational, committed and effective leader.
Candidates will:

• Possess skills and expertise to continue to develop the highest
standards of teaching and learning and inspire all of our staff
• Have the skills to build on the talents of our existing dedicated and

develop staff and deliver a curriculum for excellence
• Be approachable, caring and have integrity
• Help children enjoy their learning while realising their full potential
• Have high expectations for children’s achievement and behaviour
• Want to continue teaching, the role is a teaching head for 2 days of
the week.

The school is located in the village of Morley and draws pupils from both Derby City and Derbyshire County Council.
The school is located in an old but well-maintained building which has been extended to the rear. The building houses 3 classrooms, a library, a school office, staff kitchen, Headteacher's office and Rainbow
room. Outdoors there is a hard surface play area, a smaller early years area with artificial grass and an outdoor class area, school garden and a small staff car park. The school is surrounded by fields which can
be utilised for running and has use of village facilities to host larger events.
