Headteacher job summary

The Headteacher is accountable for ensuring the educational success of their academy within the framework of their individual academy’s strategic plans. They will provide professional leadership and management of their individual academy and must establish a culture that promotes excellence, equality and high expectations of all pupils, whilst contributing to the success of all students within Leger Education Trust. They will represent the vision and values of the Academy enabling children and staff to maximise learning through an outstanding educational provision; as well as inspiring and influencing others within and beyond the Academy.

There is a teaching commitment required as well as curriculum leadership of a specific subject area(s). The successful candidate will recognise the importance of developing a strong partnership with parents, governors and the local community, as well as with our partners in Askern Littlemoor Infant Academy and Leger Education Trust.
