 Barrs Court School and The Beacon College, part of Accordia Academies Trust, are a welcoming and forward-thinking special school and College for pupils aged 11–19 with a wide range of complex additional learning needs, including autism and profound and multiple learning difficulties.   We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Class Teacher/Tutor to join our dedicated team. You will teach a small class of learners, delivering creative, inclusive lessons as part of our Entitlement Curriculum. Working with a team of Teaching Assistants, you will nurture independence, communication, and confidence, helping every pupil to achieve their potential.  Applicants should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrate a passion for supporting pupils with additional learning needs. Experience in special education or training such as Trauma-Informed Practice, PECS, Makaton, or Thrive would be an advantage but is not essential.
