ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking to appoint a new Headteacher for September 2025 or January 2026 (for the right candidate), to lead the school into its next phase of development.
We are looking for a Headteacher who is fully aligned with Bromham’s vision. Our vision is to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment rooted in Christian values. In partnership with the wider community, we strive to enable everyone in our school to build strong foundations for the future, seize opportunities with confidence and have high aspirations, recognising the unique potential of every child to flourish in God’s love.
We know there are challenges in this but we are determined in our mission to be one of the best schools in the country and achieve great things.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
- Is able to demonstrate how curriculum is the driving force of a school;
- Holds the highest expectations for behaviour and can demonstrate clear understanding of how to implement and maintain these in the classroom and around the school;
- Has the ability and knowledge required to ensure the school continues to improve;
- Is able to empower and motivate children, staff and parents, being a visible presence in and around the school;
- Can demonstrate proven leadership experience;
- Can confidently demonstrate how to lead the school staff in using assessment and intervention to accelerate pupil progress;
- Is able to meet all aspects of the Headteacher Standards 2020;
- As well as for pupils, holds high expectations of all colleagues and themselves; and
- Can lead a dedicated workforce of teachers and support staff, demonstrating by example.
