We are seeking an experienced, inspirational and values-driven leader who is passionate about providing the very best education for every child.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have proven senior leadership experience within a primary school setting
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of raising standards and improving outcomes for pupils
  • Be an excellent communicator who can inspire, motivate and develop staff, pupils and the wider school community
  • Have a clear understanding of high-quality teaching, learning and curriculum development
  • Lead with integrity, resilience, compassion and ambition
  • Be committed to inclusion, safeguarding and the wellbeing of all children and staff
  • Build positive and effective relationships with parents, governors, the Trust and the wider community
  • Be able to manage change effectively and lead strategic school improvement
  • Support and promote the Christian vision and values of the school

Christ Church Primary School is a five mixed age class school set in the beautiful market town of Skipton, the gateway to the Dales. We currently have 140 pupils on roll and our class organisation is flexible to ensure every child can achieve their best. We offer a creative and well balanced curriculum to support each child on their unique learning journey.

Our staff and governors are talented and dedicated and with our supportive families and wonderful children, we all work together to live out the values of our church school. It really is a lovely place to work, learn and play!
