What skills and experience we're looking for

James Wolfe Primary School with centre for Deaf Children is recruiting for a co-headteacher to work with our existing headteacher to lead our school.

We are seeking a leader whose passion and experience demonstrates:

  • A commitment to securing strong outcomes for all learners.

  • Leading, supporting, and upskilling school staff to consistently deliver an innovative and challenging curriculum.

We are looking for candidates with experience of the following

  • Experience of leading a large school as a Headteacher.

  • Successful design and implementation of whole-school development projects that have delivered a high-impact improvement on school-wide pupil outcomes.

  • Experience of Specialist Inclusion: including working directly with deaf pupils and a working understanding of British Sign Language (BSL) is essential.

Salary: 0.8FTE Leadership Scale 19-23 with inner London weighting.
