What skills and experience we're looking for

The St. James and Emmanuel Academy Trust are looking to appoint an outstanding school leader to the post of Headteacher at Didsbury CE Primary School. We are seeking a dynamic, strategic leader who is committed to developing all aspects of school life and ensuring that children receive an exceptional educational experience. The successful candidate will work closely with leaders and colleagues from the Trust and will be supported in the delivery of key school improvement priorities.

We are looking for a strong, dynamic and inspirational leader who:

  • will ensure that Didsbury CE Primary School provides a welcoming environment in which everybody is cherished and challenged to fulfil their full potential
  • provides a distinctively Christian and Anglican educational experience.
  • will build on the strengths highlighted in our most recent Ofsted inspection (November 2022) and will promote a culture of continued school improvement and innovation.
  • will develop and sustain a creative, forward-thinking and inclusive learning culture for all across our school
  • will foster children’s enjoyment of learning whilst ensuring outstanding levels of achievement are maintained
  • will develop the respectful and inclusive ethos of our school
