What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governing Board is looking for a motivated, results orientated individual who is keen to build on and continue to strive for excellence in delivering outcomes for all our pupils. We are looking for a collaborative leader, who has a track record of success, motivating, developing and leading best practice, inspiring both staff and pupils while maintaining the values and culture of the school and wider community in which it sits. This is an exciting opportunity for an existing Headteacher or a highly experienced Deputy Head to join a successful, high achieving school.

Earlsfield Primary School is a popular first choice in an area popular with young families. Based in South West London we benefit from proximity to excellent transport links, local amenities and facilities and an inclusive accessible environment for pupils and staff. Our pupil community is diverse, creative and innovative and our curriculum prides itself on reflecting the needs of its pupils, ensuring children enjoy coming to school and feel actively involved in their learning journeys. We believe the success of this is reflected in our consistently strong attainment outcomes nationally and within Wandsworth.

You will be joining an enthusiastic, experienced and dedicated staff and leadership team, alongside a highly committed Governing Board and PTA. The school benefits from well-established vision and values which sit at the heart of strategic planning. Applicants should demonstrate how they believe they can build on the school’s successes and make their own mark on the school.

What the school offers its staff

We offer:

  • a competitive salary
  • a well-maintained building and facilities
  • a fiscally secure base upon which to build
  • a talented and dedicated staff and leadership team
  • a strong, supportive and committed Governing Board
  • a supportive Local Authority
  • The opportunity to work regularly and meet with other Headteachers in Wandsworth primary schools
  • Opportunities for training and further professional development
