Essential educational requirements

• QTS
• Degree
• National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) or willingness to work towards this, or equivalent qualification

Experience
• Significant successful experience as a senior leader within a school
• Provide excellent teaching across the primary phase
• Work closely with staff and governors to develop a school’s ethos, values and objectives
• Development of effective curriculum initiatives
• Leadership of monitoring and assessment
• Effective financial planning

Essential skills and experience

Knowledge & Skills
• Analyse /interpret data critically thus raising standards
• Communicate effectively, confidently in person, on paper and electronically
• engage with parents/carers to support their child’s learning
• Knowledge of all primary key stages, inc EYFS
• Thorough understanding of safeguarding practices
• Knowledge and understanding of different approaches to the curriculum and a commitment to building memorable learning experiences
