Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire
To start April or September 2021
The Mowbray Education Trust is a forward thinking, pupil focussed and extremely exciting trust to be a part of. It is ambitious to further expand its leadership strength by appointing a Head Teacher to its Trust Leadership Team.
Are you:
• Ambitious?
• Dynamic?
• Motivated by a vision of children first?
• A courageous leader who wants to work in an environment that has integrity and transparency?
• Keen to play your part in shaping educational provision in the community?
• Looking for a chance to make a difference in the lives of young people?
If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you! We are looking for an aspirational Head Teacher to work in collaboration with our very strong leadership team, to lead two of our rural primary schools.
Ab Kettleby Primary School and Somerby Primary School are extremely popular settings that play a central part in the villages they serve. They are integral to their communities. Both ‘Good’ at the time of their last inspections in 2017, we are excited about their potential to be outstanding.
Having worked under a shared leadership model in recent years, they are now familiar with and enjoy working closely and collaboratively together. They draw strength across their settings in a variety of ways including: CPD: curriculum; resources; teaching support; governance and leadership. They also play a key part within the wider family of the trust, consisting of five primary schools, a large secondary school and a nursery.
In return for your dynamic and strong leadership of these two settings, the Trust can provide you with membership of a supportive team of senior leaders, a close and supportive working relationship with the executive team; leadership coaching and mentoring; an individualised Head Teacher CPD offering, and – as a truly collaborative trust - an opportunity to help shape the future of the Trust.
The successful person will need to be outstanding, innovative and creative leader with a commitment to transforming the life chances of our excellent young people. If this is you, we cannot wait to meet you!
