Headteacher job summary
We are looking for a kind, caring and inspirational Headteacher for this wonderful school which is highly ambitious for the school's children. The school is at the heart of the village and local community, with many strong links to voluntary organisations and societies.
The school is housed in a uniquely characterful, Victorian building of Grade 2 listing and has many traditions which are important to the school community. Its pupils are clear what they love about the school and are looking for a Headteacher who will inspire, motivate and support their aspirations and success.
You will either be a current, serving Headteacher or senior leader looking for an exciting new challenge. You will have a solid understanding of the requirements of the new Ofsted framework and will be excited by the opportunity to further develop the school’s curriculum.
This is a rare opportunity to join a collaborative, forward thinking Academy trust of 30 schools (17 primary) where Headteachers form an integral part of our Trust leadership team. This role is perfect for an aspiring leader who deserves the support, CPD and career development on offer and in return will stop at nothing to ensure our pupils achieve results plus!
All members of the Unity Schools Partnership staff subscribe to a set of shared values, principles and operational processes to ensure quality education for all our young people. Our central belief is that every young life is special – open to possibility, gifted with the potential to change the world for the better. Our ambition is to unlock the potential of all children, remove the barriers to aspiration and ensure that all our children succeed.
We would strongly recommend a visit to the school so you can meet the pupils and staff.
To arrange a visit or for an informal discussion about the role please contact Stephen Astley (Primary Education Director) by email at sastley@unitysp.co.uk or by calling 07711 486791.
