What skills and experience we're looking for
After 19 years of successful leadership our current Headteacher will be retiring in July 2024. The governors are seeking to appoint a new head who shares our ethos, embraces our vision, and possesses the enthusiasm and drive to inspire our motivated team of staff whilst bringing their own forward-thinking vision and innovative ideas that could further enhance children’s achievement and experience at our school.
We are looking for an inspiring and compassionate leader who shares our commitment to educational excellence and the well-being of every child. You may be an existing headteacher or an experienced deputy headteacher, who is passionate about shaping young minds and creating a positive impact in the community. If this sounds like you, we would love to show you around our fantastic school.
In return we can offer:
- A stable, supportive and enthusiastic staff team, well versed in all areas of school life.
- The opportunity to build further upon our strong foundations and the chance to bring innovative ideas and future strategies.
- A supportive and engaged governing body.
Together, we can continue to provide a nurturing and high-achieving environment for the children of Harvey Road School.
