What skills and experience we're looking for
The Trustees of the Kirkstead Education Trust are seeking an inspirational Headteacher who is passionate about high-quality teaching and high levels of achievement for every child at Hursthead Junior School in Cheadle Hulme. You will need to be able demonstrate you are:

- An excellent communicator, building effective relationships with children, parents, staff, governors, trustees and the wider community
- Resilient and able to meet the challenges of school leadership, with the ability to manage budgets effectively
- Willing and able to lead new initiatives and share expertise with enthusiasm
- Passionate about prioritising children’s safety, wellbeing, mental health and pastoral care
- Outward facing and able to contribute to the strategic development of the school and the Trust
- Currently in a senior leadership role in a primary school setting
- Nurturing, empathetic, pragmatic and emotionally intelligent
