Kennet Valley Primary School is seeking a new Headteacher to provide inspirational and strategic leadership, who can ensure an excellent education for all pupils while developing our innovative Resource Base provision and maintaining our inclusive ethos.At Kennet Valley we aim to nurture the whole child. The successful candidate will:

- Bring experience in, or genuine passion for, inclusive education and supporting pupils with complex needs

- Be ready to join a committed and cohesive staff team
- Strategic resource management experience in a school setting is desirable, or willingness to learn – to maximise opportunities for all students. The school has a robust deficit management plan in place.

Kennet Valley Primary School is an effective and inclusive school, with high expectations of all its children. We have a strong staff team, good relationships with parents and the local community, extremely supportive governors, and positive links with our Local Authority. There are good facilities as well as extensive grounds that provide a wide range of outdoor learning opportunities. Kennet Valley Primary School serves a diverse community of 200 pupils and includes a newly established Resource Base supporting pupils with ASD and SEMH needs from across West Berkshire. The school is committed to nurturing the whole child and providing an inclusive, enriching education for all pupils.
