What skills and experience we're looking for

Our Headteacher is retiring in the summer of 2024 after ten years guiding and developing our school to its current position of strength and success. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated Headteacher to take over from her. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record as a highly effective practitioner and leader, demonstrating the strategic leadership and operational skills needed to support all staff in providing an inclusive education for all of our students.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with vision and ambition who is keen to lead a large, high-performing maintained school. Candidates should have successful, relevant, recent experience of senior leadership and be able to demonstrate their impact. Applicants should have the drive to ensure that all our students and staff challenge themselves to reach their full potential. We value everyone in our school community and believe strongly in collaboration.

Visits to the school before application are welcome by appointment. Please read the application pack for further details.

Candidates who have not previously been shortlisted should not reapply.
