The school is located in a suburb to the West of Chesterfield. It is close to Chatsworth Road (A619) which connects the town with the Peak District. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the Town Centre which is well served by local buses and trains. The school takes children from a mixed catchment area: terraced housing, private semi-detached housing and social housing estates.
The school is located in well-maintained buildings dating back to the late 1800s. The building houses 12 classrooms, 2 halls, a staff room, a library, a servery kitchen and offices, along with a number of other areas used for children’s learning. A new EYFS building has been erected this academic year. We are a larger than average sized primary school, with a PAN of 45 and NOR of 313.
