Headteacher job summary

We are looking for a passionate and inspirational headteacher with the energy and enthusiasm to drive our popular village school forward to the next stage of its development.

Our school has been selected for expansion and is set to double in size, with considerable investment in new facilities.

We are:

· A well-established and popular 5 class mixed year group primary school.

· Located in a beautiful rural setting, on the edge of the Cotswolds close to a thriving market town and junction 17 of the M4.

· Rated “Good” in our Ofsted and SIAMS inspections recently.

We have:

· A strong team of experienced, enthusiastic and forward-looking staff.

· Well-behaved pupils from diverse backgrounds who are motivated to learn.

· A strong basis of progress and achievement at the school.

· A supportive school community encompassing parents, governors, staff, PTA, volunteers and the local parish.
