Headteacher job summary

ABOUT THE ROLE As the leading figure within the school, you’ll be driving forward change and developing a bespoke curriculum that caters to the specific needs of the pupils, while upholding the overarching themes and values of the Lime Trust. You’ll be working with a fantastic group of teachers and you will need to oversee a robust programme of CPD to make sure that they’re being upskilled to develop into future leaders. As well as managing the use of the school’s resources, you’ll look to the future to implement policies and strategies that benefit pupils and staff. Crucially, you’ll be working with staff to help prepare pupils for adulthood and make sure that they are given the tools and education they need to succeed. As the face of the school, you must be able to inspire pupils to reach their full potential by delivering a quality learning experience throughout the school.
