EVERTON MULTI-ACADEMY TRUST
Meadow Primary School is seeking an inspiring, values-driven Headteacher to lead the school into its next chapter, building on its established strengths and continuing its strong record of success. This is a unique opportunity to sustain and further strengthen a successful and inclusive school community, develop an ambitious curriculum, and ensure every child is known, valued and empowered to succeed.
Working in partnership with Everton Multi-Academy Trust, you will join a collaborative network of schools committed to high-quality education, inclusion and continuous improvement. You will be supported by experienced colleagues across the Trust while retaining the opportunity to shape the continued development of Meadow Primary within its own unique community.
About the Role
As Headteacher, you will provide the vision and leadership needed to build on Meadow’s existing strengths and lead its continued development, bringing together culture, curriculum and community. You will ensure Meadow is a safe, inclusive and aspirational place to learn, where high expectations are the norm and every pupil is supported to achieve their full potential.
You will lead a school where:
- Staff feel supported, developed and proud of the difference they make every day.
- Teaching is consistently strong, supported by collaboration, professional trust and evidence-informed practice.
- The curriculum is broad, balanced and ambitious, building on the school’s existing strengths and enabling pupils to develop secure knowledge, skills and cultural understanding over time.
- Inclusion is not an add-on, but a defining feature of school life.
- Behaviour, relationships and routines create calm, purposeful learning environments.
- Families and the wider community feel welcomed, listened to and proud to be part of the school.
- Children are known as individuals, encouraged to aim high and given the confidence to succeed academically, socially and personally.
A Successful School with a Strong Foundation
Following a highly positive Ofsted inspection, Meadow Primary is recognised as a welcoming, inclusive and harmonious school where pupils thrive, staff feel valued and high standards are embedded throughout school life. For the right leader, this presents a rare opportunity to lead an established and successful school, building on its strong foundations and ensuring Meadow continues to flourish for years to come.
Our School Vision and Values
At Meadow Primary School, our vision and values sit at the heart of school life:
Vision: Inspiring a Love of Learning
Values: Ready, Respectful and Safe
Our vision and values shape the relationships, expectations and experiences we want for every child and every member of our community. We are looking for a Headteacher who will champion these values daily, sustaining the strong culture already established at Meadow while continuing to develop an environment where children feel supported, inspired and proud to belong.
Culture at the Heart
We are looking for a leader who understands that strong school culture is sustained through consistency, care and high expectations, and continually strengthened through effective leadership. You will champion an environment where children feel safe and valued, staff feel supported and trusted, and families feel genuinely connected to school life.
You will lead by example, maintaining and further strengthening a culture rooted in kindness, ambition, accountability and mutual respect, where everyone is encouraged to grow, contribute and succeed.
Curriculum Leadership
You will play a key role in developing and refining the school’s established curriculum strengths, ensuring that it remains ambitious, inclusive and meaningful for all children. You will ensure learning is carefully sequenced, knowledge builds over time, and pupils develop the skills, confidence and cultural understanding they need for the next stage of their education and beyond.
You will support a culture of continual improvement, where curriculum thinking is strengthened through collaboration, reflection and evidence-informed practice across the Trust.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a leader who brings:
- Proven leadership experience with a clear track record of improving outcomes for children.
- A strong understanding of high-quality teaching, learning and curriculum development.
- The ability to lead with clarity, consistency, warmth and integrity.
- A deep commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
- The confidence to use evidence, self-evaluation and data thoughtfully to sustain high standards and identify opportunities for further improvement.
- The ability to build strong relationships with staff, families, governors and external partners.
- Resilience, emotional intelligence and a strong moral purpose.
- A commitment to collaboration and professional growth within a Trust family of schools.
Experience within a multi-academy trust, wider system leadership and/or an NPQH qualification would be advantageous.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary aligned with STPCD and Everton Multi-Academy Trust framework.
- A full-time, permanent leadership opportunity.
- The support of a collaborative and ambitious Trust.
- Opportunities to work alongside experienced and supportive leaders across our schools.
- The opportunity to build on the strengths and success of an established school and shape its continued development.
- A welcoming community that values inclusion, aspiration and continuous improvement.
Join Us
This is more than a leadership role. It is an opportunity to make a lasting difference to children’s lives by building on the strengths of an established school community and continuing to create the conditions in which every child is encouraged to thrive academically, socially and personally.
