Headteacher job summary
BDMAT schools have a very distinctive purpose - education is taught in an environment where there is a set of values and ways of behaving. For our Church schools this stems from the Christian foundation of the school. For our non-Church schools such as Nonsuch, we aim to have an ethos and values that are aligned to, but not driven by, the same Christian foundation.
Our Trust seeks to provide a place where schools who support our philosophy can flourish and continue to provide high quality education, knowing that their distinctive ethos will be protected into the future.
We are looking for an experienced school leader to lead this delightful 1 form entry primary school in the Woodgate Valley area of South Birmingham. We are seeking to appoint a person who is able to develop and lead with a strong vision. We are therefore looking for a leader who will actively support and promote our ethos in every aspect of school life in this warm and welcoming school.
Commitment to safeguarding
Birmingham Diocesan Multi-Academy Trust (BDMAT) is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Nonsuch Primary School is committed to safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. This post is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) enhanced disclosure certificate. Please see the school website for the safeguarding policy.
