Headteacher or Head of School job summary
The Governors would like to appoint a Headteacher or Head of School. We would like to hear from ambitious, talented senior leaders and established headteachers who will bring inspirational leadership to our school.
You will be highly motivated and passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people with the natural ability to inspire and motivate both pupils and peers. We look forward to applications from experienced primary leaders for the Headteacher post and there is also the opportunity for more emerging leaders with a strong track record to alternatively apply for a Head of School role. We are encouraging applications from a broad range of applicants and for clarity, we very much view the role of Head of School as a professional developmental opportunity that will naturally lead to a Headship role after support from EPA colleagues.
Standlake CE Primary School is the heart of Standlake village in West Oxfordshire, only 10 miles from Oxford city. It is a mixed school with 123 children, including 9 children in our thriving nursery. The school is part of the EPA Trust which is committed to high academic achievement and developing well-rounded children. Our schools enable children to become successful learners, confident individuals, and responsible citizens, whilst enabling staff to grow as professionals. We are dedicated to promoting evidenced-based best practice within our schools and our collaborative approach enables staff and learners to work together to develop learning.
