You will:

  • be a strong, experienced leader;
  • understand children and know how to encourage a love of learning;

  • understand the challenges and joys of leading an urban, inclusive school;
  • have excellent communication skills and can lead the whole school community with commitment and enthusiasm;
  • have a sound vision for continuous improvement which can build on Ribble Drive’s strengths and take Ribble Drive into the next stage of its development;
  • have excellent and extensive teaching experience in the primary sector;
  • have experience of building respectful working relationships with all staff, with care for their wellbeing;
  • have proven organisational skills and know how to manage a budget, including making difficult decisions to balance it.
