We are looking for an Office Manager and Heads PA who can bring energy, organisation, and a touch of magic to our day‑to‑day operations. This is the heartbeat role of our workplace — the person who keeps everything running smoothly, supports the team, and helps create an environment where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.
We are looking for a Office Manager and Heads PA
Key responsibilities:
Provide high-level administrative and PA support to the Headteacher, including diary management, meeting coordination, and preparation of reports and briefing papers.
Manage the academy office and lead the admin team, ensuring efficient systems, processes, and a professional working environment.
Act as the first point of contact for the Headteacher, handling enquiries, communications, and correspondence with discretion and professionalism.
Coordinate internal and external communications, building strong relationships with staff, parents, external agencies, and stakeholders.
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including organising meetings, managing documentation, and supporting key projects and academy activities.
Pay range:
NJC SCP 23-27 £35,537.24 - £39,037.89 (Includes ILW) 37 hours, 41 weeks per year
NJC SCP 23 - 27 FTE - £38,434.00 - £42,220.00 (Includes ILW) 37 hours, 52 weeks per year)
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce high-quality documents and interact confidently with a range of stakeholders.
High level of discretion and confidentiality, particularly when handling sensitive information and supporting senior leadership.
Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and the ability to manage databases and administrative systems effectively.
Proven ability to build effective working relationships and lead a team, with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
