Headteacher job summary
The trustees of The Rose Learning Trust are looking to recruit a Headteacher, who in partnership with the CEO and the Local Governing Body, at Scawsby Junior Academy:
Can develop and communicate a shared vision, ethos and strategic plan that inspires and motivates all stakeholders and reflects the needs of the school, the trust and its community
Can translate the vision into clear, agreed objectives and operational plans that promote and sustain school improvement
Will provide day to day educational leadership of the school which enables Scawsby Junior and The Rose Learning Trust to give every child a high-quality education which promotes the highest possible standards of achievement and attainment
Will work towards securing the long-term educational success of the school by maximising potential through the skills and resources available from within Scawsby Junior, across the partnership and beyond.
Builds leadership capacity in the school by supporting and nurturing the talents of others
Can create a culture where pupils experience a positive and enriching school life

This role will be based at Scawsby Junior Academy, and the successful candidate will take up the post from January 2025 or when their notice period is complete. The successful candidate will be appointed to The Rose Learning Trust.
