Our Vacancy

Following the departure of our Headteacher, we are looking to employ an enthusiastic and inspirational practising Catholic Headteacher, who will develop and share our vision of high-quality education for all.

We are seeking a headteacher who is aligned to our values and who:

  • Is a practising Catholic, committed to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to lead, motivate and inspire others
  • Will continue to raise aspirations and strive for excellence
  • Will continue the implementation of our school development action plans
  • Has proven leadership skills and can advance our high-quality teaching and learning
  • Is a strategic thinker who will continue to implement our vision
  • Is committed to building on the relationships already established with our parents, parish, community and the Trust.
  • Is able to demonstrate a high level of experience and involvement in safeguarding.

Safeguarding

Our Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share the commitment and undergo an enhanced DBS check. The successful candidate will be appointed under the terms and conditions of a CES contract which they will be required to sign. The employer will be the Mater Ecclesiae Catholic Multi Academy Trust. Applications must be made via the My New Term platform which is fully compatible with the expectations set by the CES.
