What skills and experience we're looking for
Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, together with the Local Monitoring Committee of St Dennis Primary Academy, are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed Headteacher to join the team.
St Dennis Primary Academy is a happy, creative and exciting place to be, our children enjoy coming to school and our committed staff ensure it’s a place where learning and fun go hand in hand by providing many opportunities to explore, investigate and be creative. The school caters for children between the ages of 2 and 11 with an onsite nursery in a purpose-built building providing opportunities for younger children. We currently have 190 pupils on roll and offer a rich and diverse curriculum, as well as a full programme of before and after-school activities.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have recent senior leadership experience and will share our vision and values. Individuals must demonstrate a significant contribution to primary school improvement and an enthusiasm to embrace the opportunities of leading this already flourishing and happy school with a strong community identity.
