Swan Lane First School is a large two-form entry school based in a modern, very well maintained building, first opened in 1990. We have excellent ICT provision in all classrooms and are committed to providing a creative, stimulating and inclusive environment. The award winning school building is set in attractive grounds which include hard surface playgrounds, a large sports field, exciting outdoor area and a forest school area. We are a caring, warm and friendly school, where we put children at the heart of everything we do.

We pride ourselves on having excellent links with the local community and welcome students from local high schools, colleges and Worcester University to work with our pupils. We are very keen to foster and develop these links. Our Ofsted reports have been consistently good and we are looking for someone who can articulate a clear strategic vision to move the school forward in the future.

The Governors at Swan Lane First School require a dedicated, self-motivated, inspirational and talented Headteacher, who will value and build on the hard work already undertaken. We are looking to appoint a leader with the vision to develop further a successful curriculum which delivers positive outcomes for the children.
