Job summary

The Breakspear School is a highly regarded culturally rich, vibrant 3 form school with a dynamic, enriched curriculum that stretches beyond the classroom. We are proud of our history and our role in the community whilst looking forward to our next chapter. We want to appoint an outstanding and skilled leader to continue our journey from Good to Outstanding. You will maintain our caring family culture; this is a fantastic opportunity to lead a tremendous community school into the next generation.

The Governing Body is looking to recruit an innovative, creative, and visionary leader to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to make a positive impact on the lives and experiences of the children, parents, and carers of the community.

We are proud to offer...
• A creative, caring environment
• A school with high achievement levels with potential to excel
• Children who are proud of their school, with excellent behaviour and attitudes to learning
• Recently developed play areas with plans to continue to enhance the outside space
• A well-established staff group who are committed to wanting the best for the children
• A supportive and dedicated Governing body with high expectations
• An enthusiastic parent body

Due to the retirement of the current Headteacher, the Governing Body is looking to appoint a Headteacher to commence Tuesday 19th April 2022.

As the new Headteacher, you will have a passion for continuous improvement, and you will commit to upholding our values. You will be able to demonstrate that you have the skills and the track record as a senior leader in primary education to maintain the excellent relationship that exists with both staff and students, whilst setting challenging goals that motivate and foster a desire to advance across all aspects of the school.

In return, you will have the opportunity to build on the solid foundations and be part of shaping the future success of The Breakspear School.

We welcome applications from current Headteachers and experienced Deputy Headteachers.
