The Grove Primary School, part of the Mowbray Education Trust, is seeking an exceptional Headteacher to lead our warm, ambitious, and inclusive one-form-entry school in the heart of Melton Mowbray.
Rooted in the Trust’s vision “to be an inclusive community where every child thrives” and guided by our values of Inclusivity, Aspiration and Collaboration, The Grove is a school where children flourish both academically and personally. As our Director of Education describes, “The school has a warm, supportive community ethos, rooted in the vision of developing lifelong learners” and a culture where “every child feels confident, capable and ready to succeed.”
This is an exciting opportunity for a values-driven leader to build on the school’s strong foundations and continue its journey of excellence.
About The Grove
The Grove is a vibrant, nurturing school with a strong reputation for inclusion, high expectations and a love of learning. Our motto, “Explore the World Through Words,” is lived daily through a rich reading culture and thoughtfully designed curriculum. Pupils benefit from exceptional facilities including two libraries, a practical science room, extensive outdoor space and a newly developed Forest School area.
Our most recent Ofsted inspection captured the heart of our school: “Pupils say that they feel happy and safe at school because the teachers are kind and help them learn… Parents say that the school is now a ‘great choice’ for their children’s education.”
