Following the announcement of the retirement of the Headteacher, we are seeking to appoint a Headteacher to The Whitstable School, a medium, successful, and oversubscribed 11-18 school in Whitstable. The Whitstable School is part of Swale Academies Trust, a leading Multi-Academy Trust in the South East.

We are looking for a creative and collaborative leader who has experience of building teams and devising systems to drive the high performance of both pupils and staff.

We are proud that each school within the Trust has its own unique identity and ethos. The Whitstable School is already well established and highly regarded in the local community. We are looking for an exceptional leader who has the drive, vision and talent to build on the many strengths at the school and take it forward on its journey to excellence.

Swale Academies Trust provides an extensive network to empower all to achieve success. You will be supported by an Executive Headteacher, and will be encouraged to work closely with the other schools in the Trust to share best practice.
