Flexible and part-time working requests are welcomed; however, this role requires availability for at least three full school days per week.

About the Role
We are seeking a caring, organised, and proactive Health Care Assistant and Medical Needs Coordinator to join our school. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the safe and effective management of pupils' medical needs across the school.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of administering medication, maintain accurate medical records, and working within established healthcare procedures and systems and best practice in supporting children and young people with medical needs. They must be computer literate and confident using electronic record-keeping systems to record medication administration, monitor stock levels, and maintain pupil healthcare information.
The post holder will work closely with pupils, families, nursing services, school staff, and external professionals to ensure the highest standards of medical care and support are maintained.
This role will have a significant and positive impact on pupils and the school.

Billing Brook is an all age special school for pupils aged 4 - 18 with a wide range of learning difficulties. This includes moderate or severe learning difficulties; speech, language and communication needs; some medical difficulties and an all age specialist autism provision.
Billing Brook also has a 6th form centre, based a mile away from the main site, where we run our employability café and small shop.
