Inspire Support Band G. Actual salary is on a 4-point scale between £28,130 and £29,716 per annum (FTE equivalent £33,673 to £35,572)

What skills and experience we're looking for

The HLTA will provide daily operational oversight of the Woodland Provision. Collaborating with the Complex Needs Team, SENDCo and Senior Leadership Team, the post holder will deliver specialist, highly adapted interventions for pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). Serving as the primary key adult, they will ensure the consistent implementation of EHCP outcomes under the SENDCo’s guidance. To support bespoke planning and adaptation, PPA time is allocated after school hours.


1. Qualifications / Training / Experience

Essential

Postholders will be required to be able to meet the Higher-Level Teaching Assistant standards or have an equivalent qualification or experience.

NVQ level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths.

Previous experience working in education.


Desirable

Understanding of safeguarding requirements within an education setting.

Experience working with pupils with complex SLCN and/or EHCPs.

Experience working within a specialist provision or SEND unit within mainstream education.
