Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary

Roman Hill Primary School is on a journey of rapid improvement and we are looking for 2 passionate and dynamic Higher Level Teaching Assistants to support teaching and learning, and promote the wider development of pupils at our school.  Both posts are being offered on a permanent basis. The hours of work in this role are 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus one week)

Our school is on a journey of rapid improvement and offers a supportive leadership team, excellent CPD and a welcoming team of colleagues.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a positive role model for pupils
• Be patient, dedicated and passionate about working with children.
• have knowledge or experience of a trauma-informed approach to supporting children
• Be confident in planning and preparing lessons under the direction of the class teacher.
