- Salary – MSA Scale A, £533.50 (£23,656 FTE) actual pa and TA Scale C/D, £6,495.06 - £6,597.80 actual pa (£24,404-£24,790 FTE)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our excellent school, working to support a Reception class, including regular support for individual children.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children.
- Previous experience working in EYFS would be desirable.
- Has an adaptive, consistent and kind approach when supporting children to do their best.
- Has good standards of written and oral English, and good standards of Maths skills.
- Has knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
- Uses positive behaviour strategies following our school’s behaviour policy.
- Is energetic, committed and resilient.
- Has a positive attitude, good sense of humour and has a ‘can do’ approach.
- Has the ability to work as a team: can liaise with the class teacher and SENDCO to ensure learning takes place at the appropriate level.
The successful candidate must be available to work 08.30-15:15, 2 days a week, on Thursdays and Fridays, including a daily lunchtime duty.
Our last Ofsted report commented on the superb behaviour of our children and the supportive ethos of our school.
As a school, we are keen to support the future development of our teaching assistants, through regular CPD opportunities and a willingness to support candidates wishing to pursue a formal qualification and future career development.
