The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in our Specialist Resource Base. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the academy, contributing to an environment where every pupil can thrive. 

About You

  • Relevant experience of working with Autistic children.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Confidence in using IT systems and software relevant to the role.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of pupils.
  • This role will be based within our specialist provision and you will need to have experience of working with Autistic children.

Key Role Requirements:

  • Speech and Language qualification i.e. ELKLAN
  • Experience of therapeutic interventions i.e. Lego Therapy, ELSA
  • Training/experience/knowledge of 'Good Autism Practice'
  • Training in areas focussed on Trauma and Attachment
