The Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in our Specialist Resource Base. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the academy, contributing to an environment where every pupil can thrive.
About You
- Relevant experience of working with Autistic children.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence in using IT systems and software relevant to the role.
- A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of pupils.
- This role will be based within our specialist provision and you will need to have experience of working with Autistic children.
Key Role Requirements:
- Speech and Language qualification i.e. ELKLAN
- Experience of therapeutic interventions i.e. Lego Therapy, ELSA
- Training/experience/knowledge of 'Good Autism Practice'
- Training in areas focussed on Trauma and Attachment
