Caister Primary Federation is a group of two coastal schools and a special resource base providing education for primary school children aged 2 to 11 years.
We are looking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to support groups of pupils across both our schools within class & intervention groups. Your responsibilities will include working collaboratively with the teaching team to support planning and managing resources and raising standards in learning.
This is a superb opportunity to join a federation which is thriving and forward looking. It is a pleasure to work with the children and staff at these schools where the curriculum is lively, exciting, and challenging. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone who is hoping to progress to a career in teaching.
This post would suit someone who really wants to make a difference in the classroom.
We would welcome applications from an individual who:
- can use their own initiative.
- communicates with skill, confidence and authenticity, with children and adults alike.
- has a contagious enthusiasm for learning and has practice that engages children by stimulating their imagination and curiosity
- is highly resilient and shows a proactive, solution-focussed approach to personal and professional development.
- can act effectively as part of a team.
- brings a strong work ethic, proven teamwork and an excellent sense of humour to our vibrant school community.
- is committed to ensuring the right of every child to be included, accepted, and valued for their strengths and contributions.
- has good interpersonal and organisational skill
Our federation offers:
- Supportive, effective and friendly staff
- Confident, enthusiastic children who enjoy learning
- Forward thinking approaches to learning, professional development and school improvement
- Positive relationships with parents and the wider community
- A large and supportive team – with the opportunity to work within small and large schools
