Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for 28.75 hours per week, term time only, to join our team within the Nursery provision at Skelton Primary School on a fixed term basis up to November 2024.
This role will advance pupils’ learning in our Nursery setting working under the direction of the Reception teachers. This will include working with individual pupils, groups and whole classes where the assigned teacher is not present, e.g. PPA time or covering short term absence. Activities involve planning, preparing and delivering learning lessons as well as monitoring pupils, assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development, under the direction of the class/subject teacher.
