What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a PE specialism to join our academy team. You will support teaching and learning across the academy, helping to create an environment where every pupil can thrive. This role may include an additional five hours per week delivering after school sports clubs.
Working closely with colleagues, you will play a vital role in supporting pupil achievement, wellbeing, and our commitment to providing an outstanding education for all.
About You
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
- Level 4 HLTA qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience of working with pupils of relevant age in a learning environment.
- Experience of working with small groups or whole classes
- Understanding of, and ability to comply with the requirements of safeguarding/Child Protection
- Confidence in using IT systems and software relevant to the role.
- Good communication and organisational skills
