Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Elmlea Schools
Part-time, 32.5 hours per week Monday-Friday 08:30 – 15:30
5 inset days attendance required
Salary BG9 - 31,067 to £33,366 (pro rata)
Actual Salary £24,283 to £26,080
We are looking for an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team, to deliver whole class cover across the Trust, teaching from Reception to Year 6.
This role is very varied, no day is ever the same, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful person who enjoys working in this way.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Experience of supporting and complementing the work of the classroom teacher by delivering agreed learning activities.
- Experience of working effectively with individual pupils, small groups and whole classes. This includes taking responsibility for classes in the absence of the class teacher.
- Experience of working with a range of primary aged children.
- A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.
- A commitment to the happiness well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.
- Confidence in supporting a range of children with pastoral and SEND needs.
