Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 32.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm with ½ hour break (unpaid); term time only

Start date: 1st September 2025

We are looking for a candidate who:

Is an experienced Teaching Assistant, with recent experience of whole class teaching

Has energy, commitment, organisational skills and knowledge to support the teaching and learning across the school

Has a good understanding of the curriculum Is committed to the CTT approach to behaviour

Has a good understanding of phonics and early reading

Is flexible and able to cover at short notice

Will contribute to the wider school

Is positive and solution focussed
