Who are we looking for?

  • An enthusiastic individual who is deeply committed to supporting the learning and development of all children, with a strong belief in every child’s ability to succeed.

  • HLTA status or equivalent experience (Level 4 or above desirable)

  • Candidate will bring a positive, flexible attitude and be confident in supporting children with complex needs, including communication and sensory processing differences.

  • Relevant experience of working with children with SEND such as ASD, developmental delay and other SEND across the primary age range

  • Experience delivering targeted intervention programmes, particularly in communication, speech and language, Occupational Therapy or other programmes of support.

  • A team player who show initiative, builds strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues, and contributes positively to the wider school community.

  • A reflective practitioner who continually looks for ways to improve outcomes for learners.

  • An individual committed to ongoing professional development and who are eager to grow in their role through training and feedback.

  • Someone who upholds a high standard of professionalism and maintains confidentiality is crucial.
