Start Date: ASAP

Scale: 5.12 – 5.15

Actual Salary: £24,453 - £25,544 p.a Inclusive of Outer London Allowance

Hours: 32.5 hours per week

FTE: 77.57%

Reports to: Headteacher / SLT

Job Purpose:

The Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) is one member of a team of professionals that will include teachers and other teaching assistants. The Team works together to care for and educate the pupils in the school. The HLTA makes a specific contribution to their specific subject area and / or curriculum contribution to the school teaching and learning programme. The role will also incorporate Forest School Lead, this is to provide the Forest School Provision across the school to support pupils’ access to outdoor learning and provided greater opportunities for creativity across the curriculum.
