What skills and experience we're looking for
-
The HLTA role will focus on supporting children’s learning and provision, leading interventions and providing whole class cover.
Applicants should have the ability to relate sympathetically to all children and share our desire to see these children achieve their maximum potential.
- A
practitioner who has a good understanding of teaching & learning and the
curriculum and who is committed to developing children as independent learners
- An enthusiastic practitioner with high expectations of pupil’s progress, attainment & quality of work
- A practitioner with experience delivering intervention groups
- A practitioner with knowledge of a range of behavioural strategies and techniques; with experience supporting pupil’s behavioural & well-being needs
- A practitioner with experience engaging with parents and/or external agencies in supporting pupil’s achievement and well-being
- A practitioner who has the highest regard for Health & Safety and safeguarding
- A team player to join our team of dedicated and caring staff
- Good Literacy and Numeracy skills are essential for this post.
- HLTA or similar qualification desirable but not essential
