Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking to appoint a brilliant SEN Teaching Assistant/ Learning Support Assistant to join the team at Haberdashers' Hatcham Free School.

This is an opportunity to become a part of a forward-thinking team where you can develop your skills as a valued member of our support staff. You must have the skills needed to work with SEND children; the ability to be able to plan and deliver bespoke interventions; and the ability to manage the different behaviours that each child exhibits at any given time. ​

You will work as part of the Teaching Assistant team, delivering high-quality support to SEND students and focusing on the following areas:

  • Improving pupil achievement and progress;
  • Improving the quality of teaching and learning;
  • Improving the quality of the curriculum;
  • 1:1 Support
