We are looking for a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. You will be responsible for planning, teaching and marking the work for designated classes each week, of any age. Tasks will also include cover for unexpected absences. The role will be across our two federated schools (Great Massingham and Harpley Primary Schools), with time spent in each.

You will:

  • Hold the higher level teaching assistant qualification. 
  • Be able to establish positive and supportive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Have experience of working with children across the primary age range in a school setting.
  • Have Level 2 (GCSE grade C or above) in English and maths.
  • Be a positive, creative, resilient and enthusiastic practitioner with high expectations of all learners.
  • Be flexible and able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team. 
  • A willingness to work within a Norfolk Steps school delivering the Norfolk Steps behaviour management approach within your practice.
