Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary
Hertford Heath Primary is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our caring and passionate team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning, fostering their independence, and nurturing them to become confident, resilient, and self-motivated learners. The role will include HLTA responsibilities for whole-class teaching.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, energetic, and fully committed to children’s learning. You will be able to demonstrate initiative, behaviour management skills, and a flexible, positive approach to your work. We also welcome applications from candidates who will contribute to the support of our SEND pupils.
